This years National was held just a few miles from Chester at the bottom of the Wirral Whitby Sports and Social Club the former Shell Sports and Social club site. A lovelly large site with onsite bar & kitchens open daily, huge entertainments hall, large flat grounds for camping and plenty of space for show and shine. All in all a really great location.

Karting at Hooten Park Circuit.

Great scenic runs were planned and very well documented in the "Book of Scenic Runs", to Quarry Bank Mill, Jodrell Bank, the Anderton Boat Lift on Friday and to the Railway at Glyndyfrdwy Station and a fantastic Circular Tour of North Wales on Saturday A great evening of fun and frolics on Fancy Dress was on Saturday night. A great line up of cars on the Sunday Show and Shine at a very jaunty angle.

It really was a fantastic National and many thanks to all who helped make it shuch a great event,
